A principal of DAC served as on-site Office Engineer for the general contractor, Blount Brothers Construction Co. through start up. Total construction personnel totaled over 130 at peak production.

The Valley Creek Administration Building and Laboratory set a new standard as part of a $14,000,000 (1976 dollars) facility owned by Jefferson County, Alabama.

The building combined a state of the art laborary with mass spectrometer adjacent to the administration offices. Attached is the building containing gas and electric driven air blowers. The laboratory facilities served the on-site treatment process plus provide d quality control services for the entire County.

The project was funded by federal, state and local agencies.
