The orginal terminals A & B at Bush Intercontinental Houston were renovated after asbestos abatement and installation of high efficiency environmental systems. The work required relocating each of the 24 airline's back-offices and shop services as each area underwent abatement, installation of new HVAC systems and then restoration of the interior walls, ceilings, flooring and all miscellaneous built in furnishings and appurtenances. Also included was work in the tunnel systems and complete overhaul of the lighting in the central terminal space in each terminal.
